Indian visa requirements differ depending on your nationality. However, all Indian nationals need a valid passport to visit India. Additionally, Indian nationals must have a visa obtained in advance from an Indian embassy or consulate. Indian Visa requirements

To get a visa, Indian nationals must first present their passport and visa application form to an embassy or consulate. The embassy or consulate will then decide if you require a visa for your specific travel destination.

If you are traveling to Goa, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, or Puducherry, you do not need a visa for short-term visits of 30 days or less. For other areas, including rest of India, you will need a tourist visa. Tourist visas are valid for 60 days and can be extended for up to 30 days at a time.

To apply for a tourist visa, Indian nationals must provide the following documents:

– Passport valid for at least six months after your intended date of departure from India

– Visa application form

– Two passport-sized photographs

– Proof of hotel reservation if staying in India for more than three days

– Proof of onward travel (if departing from India)

Once these documents have been submitted to the embassy or consulate

There are a few requirements that you need in order to get an Indian passport. The first requirement is that you must be a citizen of India. You do not need a visa to travel to India, but you will need a passport. The age requirement for getting an Indian passport is 18 years old. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, you can apply for an interim passport which will allow you to travel to India for up to six months.

The next requirement is that you must have proof of your citizenship. This can be any type of document that proves that you are a citizen of India. Some examples of documents that may be accepted as proof of citizenship are your birth certificate, your voter registration card, or your driver’s license.

You will also need proof of residence in India. This can be anything from your utility bills to your bank statement to your lease agreement.

Lastly, you will need a photograph and a copy of your birth certificate. Your photograph should be taken in front of a white background with no glasses or hats on. Your copy of your birth certificate should be photocopied and have the signature of the person who signed it certified by a notary public or another official seal holder.

Requirements to Obtain a Visa on Arrival

The Indian eVisa Valid Airports list includes all of the airports in India that are approved to issue eVisas.  The eVisas can be used for travel to any of the 68 countries that have an agreement with India to accept them.

Requirements for a visa on arrival in India depend on the type of visa you are applying for. For example, a tourist visa requires only a passport picture and your flight information. An employment visa, however, requires more documentation such as your employer’s letter or confirmation of your job offer.

To obtain a visa on arrival in India, you will need to visit a visa office at one of the approved airports listed on the Indian eVisa Valid Airports list.  You will also need to provide your passport photo, airplane ticket information, and any other required documentation.

If you are applying for a tourist visa, you will also need to show proof of sufficient funds (such as an international bank statement) in order to purchase your plane ticket back home.
