The Turkish government is requesting from the Omani and Kuwaiti citizens to get a visa before they enter Turkey. The only document that needs to be filled for issuing this visa is the application form, which can be obtained from the embassy of Turkey or consulate-general of Turkey in a given country.

What is the guidance for traveling to Turkey?

The Turkish government has issued guidance for travelers from Oman and Kuwait seeking to obtain a visa to enter Turkey. The guidance states that travelers from these countries must submit an application online through the website of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The guidance also states that, in addition to the online application, travelers from Oman and Kuwait must submit the following documentation: a passport with at least six months remaining validity, a passport-sized photograph, and proof of travel insurance. Travelers from Oman must also submit a copy of their residency permit, while travelers from Kuwait must submit a copy of their Kuwaiti ID card.

Once the online application and required documentation have been submitted, travelers will be able to track the status of their visa application online. If the application is approved, they will receive an email notification instructing them to pay the visa fee online. Once the visa fee has been paid, travelers will be able to print out their e-visa and present it upon arrival in Turkey.

How long can I stay in Turkey?

As of May 2018, Omani and Kuwaiti citizens can apply for an e-Visa to enter Turkey. The e-Visa is valid for a period of 180 days from the date of issue and permits a single entry into Turkey. Passengers must arrive at one of Turkey’s airports to receive their e-Visa.
