How to Apply for a Tourist Visa

It is now possible to apply for an Indian visa online, through the e-Visa system. Citizens of certain countries are eligible to apply for an e-Visa, and can do so up to 60 days in advance of their travel date. The e-Visa is valid for a stay of up to 30 days in India. Indian Business Visa

To apply for an e-Visa, you will need to fill out an online application form, and provide a digital photograph and passport scan. How to Apply for Indian Business Visa

If you are planning to travel to India for business purposes, you will need to apply for an Indian Business Visa. The process for applying for a Business Visa is similar to the process for applying for a Tourist Visa, but there are a few additional steps that you will need to take.

First, you will need to fill out an online application form and submit it along with the required documents. After your application has been processed, you will need to schedule an appointment at the Indian consulate or embassy in your home country. At your appointment, you will need to submit your passport, two photographs, and your visa fee. You may also be required to submit additional documents, such as a letter from your employer or an invitation from an Indian company.

Once your visa has been approved, you will be able to travel to India and stay for up to 60 days. If you plan on staying longer than 60 days, you will need to apply for an extension of your visa before your current visa expires.

What Supporting Documents are Required?
