Visitors to Oman must have a valid visa. The most common visa is the 30-day tourist visa which can be obtained at most major embassies or tourist offices. If your nationality is not included in the list of eligible countries, you will need to apply for a special Omani visa. You can also get a transit visa if you are travelling through Oman on your way to another destination.

The fee for a 30-day tourist visa is $60. Transit visas cost $10 each and can be obtained at most major embassies or tourist offices.

Visitors to Oman can obtain a visa at the port of entry. The following visa types are available: a single-entry visa, a multiple-entry visa, and a tourist visa. The validity period for each type of visa is one month.

The following passport requirements are necessary for visitors to Oman: a valid passport that has been issued within the past six months, an onward/return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. Visitors must also have a valid visa if they are traveling with children below the age of 16.

The citizens of countries that are members of the Arab League are exempt from needing a visa to enter Oman, as well as holders of diplomatic or official passports. The cost of a visa varies depending on the nationality of the applicant, but generally costs between US$30 and US$60. The requirements for obtaining a visa include providing proof of citizenship and an onward ticket.
