To get a visa, Indian nationals must first present their passport and visa application form to an embassy or consulate. The embassy or consulate will then decide if you require a visa for your specific travel destination.

For other areas, including rest of India, you will need a tourist visa. Tourist visas are valid for 60 days and can be extended for up to 30 days at a time.

To apply for a tourist visa, Indian nationals must provide the following documents:

– Passport valid for at least six months after your intended date of departure from India

– Two passport-sized photographs

– Proof of hotel reservation if staying in India for more than three days
